TICUA – Tennessee Independent Colleges and Universities Association
TICUA is the organization that oversees and unifies the 34 independent and private colleges and universities in Tennessee.
While working with TICUA, I primarily provided creative direction in regards to their long-form print media. The most rewarding project was their 30+ page 2022 annual report case statement (see directly below), which highlighted their yearly successes to increase funding and sponsorship. Creating the report involved communicating directly with each university and institution to collect photos and data, as well as working with the TICUA staff to structure and write each section. The design was developed using Adobe InDesign and the final report was professionally printed and distributed to each member institution.
I was also proud to work on two of TICUA's annual Hall of Fame inductee booklets, which highlight a cohort of alumni from member institutions for their contributions to surrounding communities and industries. Each booklet required effective communication with member institutions to collect photos and information. Professionally printed copies were then distributed and press releases were published with several Tennessee news publications.
Finally, I was proud to be a part of the Pell Grant expansion campaign (see bottom image) that TICUA sponsored. The campaign included the creation of flyers and social media graphics to promote doubling the Federal Pell Grant for students seeking financial aid for higher education. My graphics were used on a national level at a conference in Washington D.C. with members of the White House staff.
In addition to these print projects, I also collaborated with coworkers to curate content for TICUA social media accounts and monthly email newsletters.
